The first thing you notice about this lovely girl is her happy face and wagging tail. es. Pretty Cali is sweet, affectionate and loves to snuggle; she especially enjoys sitting very near her person, resting her head on their shoulder and nuzzling into the crook of their neck. She loves sleeping on the floor at the foot of the bed in own fluffy dog bed. Cali has very keen senses and would make a great companion for someone needing an alert, loyal protector. Cali Girl is completely house-trained and very smart, knowing several commands.  SHe recently completed a 6 session training course. She did quite well, we might add. She’s not at all mischievous and happily carries a favorite toy all around the house. While Cali gets along great with some of the dogs at DAWG, she can be unfriendly towards others and should never be allowed off leash at local dog parks. Cali would be fine with kids but because of her strength, an older teenage child or adult should be the ones to walk her on leash. She’ll need an active household where she can receive the love and attention she so deserves. Cali would be happiest as the only dog in the household or possibly with a large, friendly male dog.
