Sweet, young Niles is somewhat shy and timid when first meeting strangers, but warms up nicely ands is very loyal and affectionate with those he trusts. Niles is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play, but he is rather protective of his food when other dogs are around . It would be best to keep him separated from other doggies at meal times so he can enjoy his kibble in peace. He loves to go out for walks but especially enjoys being held and loved on. He is currently living in a foster home where his foster Mom reports he picked up on the idea of potty training very quickly and is just about 100% housebroken. Niles is a really terrific little pooch who, with a little patience and a lot of love will soon feel confident and  secure and will be a lovely companion.
