Rosie is a terrific little dog. This sweet young girl is very confident, energetic and oh-so friendly. In fact often times when we get a new little dog who’s especially nervous and afraid we just let them hang out with Rosie for few days. She has a way of making them feel relaxed, happy and comfortable. She is great with ALL the little dogs and really loves rousing up her buddies for a game of chase around the little dog land. Rosie is very affectionate with people as well. She LOVES to be held and will boldly jump right into your arms. When she is being held she can get a little sassy and overprotective of her time. She has snapped at other dogs who are usually her friends when she is being carried. She also gives great kisses. She is content sitting on a cot, relaxing in the sun but would much rather be hanging out with people, doing anything- from taking a walk, playing fetch with a ball, going for a ride in the car or just laying in your lap for a belly rub. She is smart, clever and very eager to please, not to mention super cute as well. She’s slim and trim, has long, wiry black hair with tan markings on her face, chest, tail, legs and feet. She has perky ears, bright eyes, a smiling face and constantly wagging tail. Rosie and Max (our resident dog) are wonderful playmates. It is heart-warming to watch them play together at the end of each day. Rosie walks great on a leash and has a wonderful, boundless energy, but is not at all a trouble maker. She can be a bit barky but that is mainly because she wants to be (and usually is) the center of attention and when she is not getting attention, she wants it!! Rosie is a very social pup and would be happiest in an active home with another dog or maybe older kids where she could get lots of exercise, attention and love! She would NOT be happy by herself for long periods of time. She will be a really good little buddy for someone special …could it be you? Please consider Rosie as a lovely addition to your family.
