SNORKEL is a lovely little pooch with a very sensitive soul. This Min-Pin/Chi mix has an incredibly smooth silky coat and a very soft belly. He is sweet as they come, but also has a few minor issues. He would rather not share affection or his much treasured “lap time” with other dogs. While he gets along OK with the other dogs in little dog land, he really needs to be the only pet in the household. Snorkel would probably be best in an adult household but might be all right with gentle kids over 12 years old. He would be very happy to be included in all daily activities. He gets very anxious & upset if put in a crate or kennel. He’s happy to sleep on his bed on the floor when the other dogs are put in individual kennels at night. He would most certainly benefit from some dog training. Snorkel desperately wants to get out of the shelter & become an important part of a real family. He’ll be a very loving, loyal companion.

Snorkel is getting a much needed break from the shelter and staying as a house guest with a foster family. This is what they had to share about him-
“Snorkel is doing well with us. He is a happy, goofy guy and he loves to play. He gets along just fine with our female Chihuahua. We’ve left him home alone for several hours and he has behaved perfectly. Snorkel is totally housebroken and never tries to bolt out the door when we open it. He seems to like me just fine but he absolutely adores my teenage son. Snorkel sleeps curled up with him every night and doesn’t get out of bed until my son does. Snorkel has been on car rides, trips to the beach and the batting cages and just all over the place and he always behaves. He walks perfectly on the leash. All in all Snorkel is an amazing. easy-going guy. We can not believe that he has been at the DAWG for over a year. He is such a great little dog and would make an amazing family pet. It took him all of a day to relax at our house and now he acts like he’s lived her forever! I hope the information that I have given you will help him find his forever home! Will be sending pictures of him soon!”
