Everyone LOVES Summer!! This little dog embodies the perfect soul. She is ever-so sweet, affectionate, gentle, calm & so very lovable. She can be pretty wiggly when you pick her up but she settles down nicely once she’s in your lap. Summer is not much of a barker at all. Summer gets along great with other dogs. She is potty trained. Summer bonds very deeply to her people and would be a perfect companion for someone who wants a very happy, loyal “forever friend“ to spoil with love and attention. She would probably be happiest in an adult household but who knows, maybe she would be comfortable with nice kids. Summer came to us with a very itchy skin condition. It took a long time to figure out exactly what it was (NOT allergies!). She ended up getting so itchy that she had to wear a cone full time and was out of her mind with itchies. But through it all, she kept her sweet, happy spirit. We are delighted to report that Summer is now being successfully treated and on her way to being able to go home with a clean bill of health. As part of the treatment/recovery process, she was completely shaved. She is now starting to grow her soft hair back and will no doubt be just as cute and even cuter than before. Most importantly she is NO LONGER ITCHY!! Yay!! Come in to meet her, she is so very worthy and deserving of a wonderful new home and will be a truly delightful companion for someone very lucky!! She will certainlywarm your heart.
