Tiny is a handsome younger male pit-bull mix, with velvety golden brown fur and distinguished white markings on his chest and paws. Tiny’s mother was pregnant when she was found wandering in the desert. Tiny was born at DAWG and has spent his entire life here. Tiny grew to be a big dog who ran into trouble because he still thought he was a puppy. This year, 2012, marks a turning point for Tiny. His birthday present from DAWG was a week of professional training at
Camp Canine with John Sorosky (thank you, John). Tiny came out of the training a changed dog. He is learning to stay calm and take direction, and he hasn’t been displaying the out-of-control puppy like behavior and demands for attention. He is refining his rough edges. Tiny is ready for his forever person and would do well with someone who will be in charge consistently. In return for guidance, Tiny would love to give his affection to the special person(s) in his life, and he appreciates belly rubs and cuddles (in a masculine kind of way, of course!). Tiny plays ball like a true pro-chasing it with puppy like enthusiasm, then eagerly running back to drop the ball right at your feet. Tiny would be happy with only moderate exercise as he’s had some surgery to correct his back legs.
