Mary is cautious at first, then you quickly become her best friend. She's playful, attentive, quick to learn and eager to please. A home with prior puppy experience is required.

The following, also appears in the Fall 2010 edition of DAWG's newsletter

Brandy (left) and AndyAndy and Brandy are about the sweetest and goofiest pups you'll ever meet. Their personalities have developed at a very young age and it's clear that they will be incredible lifelong companions.

Brandy is the fearless leader of the two, exuberantly playing any game or chasing any toy you provide. She loves to snuggle, but not as much as her little brother Andy. He is much more sensitive and independent; he will whine until you lift him onto the couch where he will happily remain for the rest of the evening. That's not to say that he isn't playful! He proudly prances around the house and yard with his prized squirrel chew toy (which is double his size).

It's clear that their personalities developed genetically! Mandy, their mother, playfully dances when she approaches you and bonds quicker than you could imagine. She never wants to leave your side, and will jump into your arms any chance she has. She was a very loving mother to her children, but now wants to be with a person that can devote the attention she deserves.

Hi ,
Just thought I would share this cute picture with you and your staff. As you can appreciate Dooney (who we have renamed as Izzaboo, Izzy for short) is settling into our home and has become Roxy’s best friend! I think this picture shows how close they have become :-) Thanks for taking care of her and we will see you again in a couple of weeks.
Cheers,
Jonathan and Keyla

Petunia is doing so great! Her addition to our crazy family has been wonderful, she fits right in. She sleeps nights in her crate, where we think she is most comfortable but is out and free the rest of the day. Slowly she is learning to enjoy the car, it has taken her this long but she almost gets excited when we get ready toleave. It has taken her months but she is finally able/willing to go in and out the doggie door on her own, she is very proud of herself. Next month we will be camping at Refugio for a week and it will be her first camping experience with us, we got her a “pet yard” to be in while we are there. I am a little anxious and hoping she will be fine “ruffing it” for the week. She has learned lots of fun tricks like sit, stay, give paw, dance and crate. We all feel so lucky to have her and want you to know you gave her to a family who loves her very much.
