Precious Angelina, also known as Angie truly fits her namesake- she’s an angel. She came to DAWG in May of 2018 in serious need of medical care! She had numerous mammory masses, foxtails in her ears, and really needed dental surgery! DAWG always goes above and beyond for the dogs in our care -especially if they need medical care. After her exam, bloodwork and radiographs she got whisked off to anesthesia for a dental (scaling & polish - she has beautiful pearly whites now!), after foxtail removal from her ears, and a partial mastectomy she was on her way to being the happy, healthy girl we knew she could be! We're SO HAPPY to report that her biopsy results are clear, and she had a seemless recovery at DAWG. Our entire shelter is funded by donations, grants and fundraisers. Every penny helps the dogs in our care get the help and love they need until they can find a home of their own. We are grateful for each and every donation, no matter how big or small, because they allow us to continue our mission- including all of our medical expenses in our vet room. Angie is one of many dogs who is now free from being in pain and unhealthy after a visit in our DAWG vet room where she received fantastic medical care becuase of our esteemed veterinarian, Dr. Zaboly and the rest of the DAWG Team for getting Angie through her rough patch, healed and happy. The best news is that this little lady went home with her new family who are head over heels in love with her. Here is what her new pack said about her:

We adopted Angelina (Now named Lou) about 4 months ago. It did not take her long to get comfortable and feel at home. She is a super cuddler who always makes us feel so loved when coming home from a long day at work. She is so well behaved and was so easy to train with how we wanted her to act in our home. She always lets us know when it’s time to go potty as she stands next to the front door and does the cha cha. She has brought so much happiness into our lives!
We can’t thank DAWG enough for making the adoption process so seamless. We knew she was the pup for us right away and the staff made this dream a reality!
