Franklin was a dog that we took in from the county early in the year in 2018. He was found as a stray when he was hit by a car! The accident caused him to have brain damage where he constantly spins in right-hand circles, has trouble becoming house trained, and sometimes has difficulty interacting with other dogs. As a result of his condition, he was at DAWG for nearly a year with countless almost adoptions that fell through at the last minute. He went to a couple of foster homes where he learned a little bit about how to behave in a home more politely but was still struggling with the house training issue. He finally found his forever family in November 2018! His new mom fostered him for a few weeks and fell in love with him despite his condition. She adopted him officially in January of 2019 and neither one of them is looking back!
