Otis was a little Boxer/Mastiff puppy with a cleft palate. He was dumped on the doorstep of a volunteer at the county as a newborn. He couldn't stay with that family and one of our volunteers became aware of his situation and rescued him and fostered him through his early puppy days until he was able to come to stay at DAWG to find his forever home! It looked like he was going to need significant surgery to correct his cleft palate, but after consultation from AVS, and La Concepcion Animal Hospital as well as the DAWG Veterinarian, his cleft wasn’t deemed medically dangerous! Just a bit of a cosmetic quirk! He was adopted by a Veterinarian and his wonderful family. He’s growing so fast you can practically see him getting bigger before your eyes!
